Oct 26, 2002 Some times you see really cool art, so you take a bunch of photos. Then you get home and you start to put together an image for you're webpage, and the cool art doesn't translate to go pictures. It usually has to with the size of the art. It just doesn't have the same effect shrunk down at 72 dpi. It's kinda like theater on video; it's never AS good as it was live. Not that I think these picture are of bad art, but I saw cooler stuff, but the pictures made it look lame. My friends Steve (that him on the right) & Biffy were down and we went to the Galleries over in Chelsea. While we were at a gallery seeing some new sculpture of Paul McCarthy, we saw john Waters in the Gallery. I tried to take a picture of him IN the gallery but I missed. So the only shot that came out was this one of him far down the street. We had a lot of fun despite the picture Not coming out. ;)
