MArch 29, 2003

I needed to get out and see some art, so I called my friend Ellie. I learned of this garbage art place called Garbainia, it was in the Bronx, they were having an opening. They were going to draw dolphins on the sidewalk, so when you came out at 138, you could follow them to Garbainina. There were no dolphins ;( So Ellie and I walked back and forth a few times to see if we missed the dolphins, but no luck. Instead we looked like to while people looking for crack on 138 street in the Bronx.

From there we headed down to Chelsea. I Really wanted to see some art!

Luckily they had a lot; my favorite thing was Elizabeth Murray 's paintings! I've seen them before at the children's' museum of Manhattan. I Love her stuff, big colorful paints, kinda like jigsaw puzzles. Great. I'd give you a link, but she doesn't have a web page. I found that most fine artist don't have WebPages. It's a same, the only way to see their art is to go to galleries, and MOST people in the country can't go to NYC galleries. If you know a fine artist that want a web page built, send them to me! I'll hook them up.
