April 19, 2003

I went over to Hoboken NJ, to visit my cube buddy Vince. I was expecting this gross little town, cuz it's NEW JERSEY! But Instead I find this cute little town that feels kinda like a port. It was small but cute & clean.

As you can see I took the PATH train over, which is a different system than the NYC subways. The PATH cars felt more like the Washington DC subways cars. Which means they felt a little wider, and more like an airport tram system.

Vince's brother was in town, and they walk over to get me from the gothic train station. We walked down Main Street and had some Mexican food! Then we went back to Vince's place to see the children's book he's working on. While looking over the paintings I see this oil paints! He stacks the paint up on top of the last paint, so he had these towers of paint! CRAZY! He said it was so he didn't have to bend over so far ;)

He had a lot of work to do, so I let him get back to work, I went over to a nice little park on the Hudson and looked at Manhattan from the west side. Nice!

Then I came back into the city, and found a street festival, and had some funnel cake.. Ummmm…. Funnel cake!
